The former council chambers at University Heights City Hall have been altered to accommodate offices, making unhappy some council members who had hoped to return to the room for meetings.

Some council members are displeased that the room has been altered without Mayor Michael Dylan Brennan informing council.UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Although some City Council members expressed a wish to someday return their meetings to the second-floor city hall council chambers, it appears as though that will not be happening.
Mayor Michael Dylan Brennan, in the last two weeks, had the old council dais removed from the room as well as the platform upon which it had rested. The floor where the dais had been located has been freshly carpeted to match that of the rest of the room.
