The west zone water concessionaire said it will replace the ultrafiltration membranes at the Putatan Water Treatment Plant.Among the areas that will be affected are Las Piñas City, Bacoor City, and Imus City in Cavite.
'This replacement will be done in batches, to minimize the impact on customers of the resulting lower production,' Maynilad said. 'After this initial batch of three membranes is removed and changed with new ones, we will provide an update on the next schedule of service interruption for when the remaining 11 membranes will be replaced,' it added.The water concessionaire advised its customers to store water for their use.
