SINGAPORE: (Bernama) The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has recalled two additional formula milk products for infants and children above one year old respectively, following the detection of cereulide toxin.
MONTHLY consultative meetings between the mayor and Kuala Lumpur MPs will now be held at the parliamentary constituency-level. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Hannah Yeoh said the meetings will be jointly chaired by Kuala Lumpur City Hall 's executive directors and the respective MPs.
"It will bring the capabilities and resources of the headquarters directly to the ground so that issues can be seen, understood and resolved more quickly," she said in a statement after chairing the Minister's Council Meeting which was attended by senior DBKL management and Kuala Lumpur MPs, of which there are 11 in the current term. Yeoh added that relevant agencies and stakeholders will also be invited so that each issue can be discussed in a more coordinated manner and solutions can be implemented more effectively. "Urban administration cannot be detached from realities on the ground. With this approach, DBKL will be closer to the community so that public issues can be addressed more quickly, accurately and effectively."
