“We’re grown men. We’re NFL players. Why can’t we win any game we show up to play?” Stroud told NBC’s Peter King. “That Jacksonville team’s a top 10 team in the NFL, but we knew we could play with them. The main reason Stroud says all the right things is he has good stuff in him. Pressure is a privilege? As the meme says, Stroud has that dawg in him.
Stroud will have difficult days — that’s the nature of the sport — but not because he lacks confidence. He has an inner belief that he is meant for something special.Stroud says he always had a killer mindset, but his leadership developed at Ohio State after an assistant coach asked him about playing quarterback. Stroud told him his job was to make plays and be a leader. The coach wanted more.
