Gen V protagonist Marie Moreau is a young supe who gets the opportunity to attend the school, but upon arriving, she unearths a massive Vought conspiracy.
Cate's Soldier Boy Crush Makes No Sense In Gen V Gen V episode 6 reveals that Cate used to have a massive crush on Soldier Boy, and while this detail is funny, it makes absolutely no sense. In the episode, Marie, Andre, Jordan, and Dusty all get trapped inside Cate's mind, with her psychic powers putting the group in peril as they attempt to find a way out. While trying to flee her mind, the group finds Soldier Boy in the middle of the woods, to the surprise of everyone.
Soldier Boy's Personality Also Makes No Sense In His Gen V Cameo In the brief exchange between Soldier Boy and the Godolkin students, Soldier Boy's personality is pretty clearly brought to the forefront of the scene. However, even his personality makes absolutely no sense. In The Boys season 3, Soldier Boy is a hardheaded oaf, with his seriousness and vulgarity being his defining character traits.
While Soldier Boy's personality in Gen V matches his personality in The Boys season 3, it does not match the character's personality before his disappearance in the 1980s. As Vought's biggest star, Soldier Boy's public image was heavily monitored by the company, with his personality being more akin to that of Captain America or Superman.
