Two-time defending champions trail Chihuahua in best-of-three series; will host Game 2 and a potential 'Knockout Game' at Pechanga Arena
After losing 6-5 on Tuesday night to the Chihuahua Savage, the San Diego Sockers return to America’s Finest City for the biggest night of their storied season.
“Honestly, it was a difficult game down in a tough environment,” Sockers team captain Kraig Chiles said. “We just couldn’t get the little details correct at the moment and now we’re back home to make sure we write the ship.” The Sockers took down the Savage 6-2 to even the series followed by a 4-1 victory in the knockout to move on to the finals.“There’s no complacency because it’s a do-or-die situation,” Chiles said. “So we’re gonna show up and put everything on the line in the first game and focus on game one.
