LONDON (Reuters) - Bournemouth completed their sixth signing of the January transfer window on Tuesday with midfielder Hamed Traore joining initially on loan from Serie A outfit Sassuolo.
Ivory Coast international Traore, 22, will join Bournemouth on a five-year deal at the end of the season.
"Hamed is another exciting prospect and we are delighted to have secured his services," Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake told the club's website. "He is young, ambitious and one of the hottest talents from Serie A. He fits the profile of the player we are looking to recruit and will significantly add to our creative resources."
Bournemouth, who are 18th in the Premier League, have also signed Dango Ouattara, Darren Randolph, Antoine Semenyo and Matias Vina in the January window. "After Bill Foley had completed his takeover of the club last month, he said he would be investing in the squad and has certainly done so," Blake said.
