While many roads haven’t seen the light of day since last fall, this year’s break up season has caused the heavily puddled roads to be worse than they were in previous years.
Jacobson said, “We’re doing the best that we can to fix these potholes, but because of the amount of water that’s still out there, those patches don’t last but just a few days.”
“Unfortunately, we only ordered a small batch because we wanted to test if it would work for us, so we’ve already used that up. We plan to order more, but it won’t be arriving here in time for this season,” Jacobson said. Jacobson said, “That is something that’s affecting us as far as budget-wise, manpower-wise, to make sure that we have the staffing to be able to do the pothole patching in addition to all of the other things that we are going to have to do over the summer.”
