JOHOR BARU: Having a snap election in Johor is not the priority of the government, says state Health and Environment Committee chairman R. Vidyananthan.
The Kahang assemblyman, who is also state MIC chief, pointed out that the government was more focused on the people’s welfare especially with post Covid-19.
Earlier, Parti Amanah Negara deputy president Datuk Salahuddin Ayub had challenged for the Johor state assembly to be dissolved first. He said the Perikatan Nasional government needed to do this immediately as the country faced a never-seen-before level of political instability post-Merdeka.
