Smoke grounds two evening flights from Ipoh

Smoke has periodically grounded flights from Ipoh Sultan Azlan Shah Airport, including two more this evening. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, September 21, 2019.

TWO out of six flights scheduled to depart Sultan Azlan Shah Airport, Ipoh, were cancelled due to haze. Airport manager Mohd Ali Osman said a Malindo Air flight to Johor Baru and a FlyScoot flight to Singapore were affected, having a knock-on effect on 417 passengers.
