Robinson used the league’s past legal unpredictability against the NFL, ultimately ruling in Watson’s favor – he is able to play in 11 more games than the NFL wanted him to be available for – and knocking The Shield down a couple notches.Then-New England QB Tom Brady was suspended for four games during the Deflategate controversy, which looks flimsier than ever seven years after the fact.Ridley’s name wasn’t mentioned in Robinson’s 16-page ruling.
