The man who was attacked by a grizzly bear in Montana will soon be leaving the University of Utah hospitaland returning to his home in Montana.
Rudy Noorlander, the man who was attacked by a grizzly bear in Montana, will soon be leaving the University of Utah hospital and returning home. Rudy, his daughters, and one of his doctors, spoke to the media on Oct. 13, 2023. Rudy Noorlander has spent the past five weeks at the hospital with his family, unable to eat or talk. Today Rudy, his daughters Katelyn Davis and Rudy Noorlander, and one of his doctors, Hillary McCrary, spoke to the media.
Katelyn spoke on her dad's behalf, saying, "a huge thank you for all of the support, all of the love and all of the prayers. The kindness from strangers and friends has been overwhelming." Rudy is used to bear sightings, as he works and lives near Big Sky, Montana. His first bear encounter was when he was 10 years old.
