A new free-to-view channel called Sky News Now will launch across millions of internet-connected smart TVs this week, in a new partnership between Sky News Australia and TV giant Samsung.

Samsung TV Plus is Samsung’s free ad-supported streaming TV service with over 90 channels and growing.brings together content from across the network’s portfolio of channels includingto create a new channel programmed exclusively for Samsung TV Plus Australian viewers.

Sky News boss Paul Whittaker launches new streaming channel as the latest content offering for Australia’s most engaging digital news brand. “As Australia’s most engaging digital news brand, we have seen rapid audience growth as more Australians access our unique local content offering of live breaking news, thought-leading opinion programs and topical documentaries, in more ways than ever before.
