JUST IN | Skeletal remains discovered nearly four decades ago in Campbell County, Tennessee have been identified as those of missing Indiana girl Tracy Sue Walker.
Now, nearly four decades later, the child has been identified and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is hoping to find out what happened to her.
It would be six years before the case would be revisited again, and nine more years before a break in the case. The family confirmed that they had a family member go missing from that area in 1978, and with the help of DNA, the child was positively identified as Tracy Sue Walker.
