Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small Sr. says the money-losing rink will stay open, at least for now.

Small donned a Philadelphia Flyers sweatshirt at a press conference on Wednesday to announce that the city had dropped the idea of converting the ice-skating facility, which locals call Flyers Stadium, into a roller rink.

“We are going to keep the stadium as an ice skating facility until the city no longer possesses the property,” Small said. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
