Sivakumar insists will not resign over MACC probe FMTNews
Human resources minister V Sivakumar said he would abide by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s stance that there was no need for him to resign.
Several quarters have urged Sivakumar to go on leave after he was summoned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission as part of an ongoing investigation into the recruitment of foreign workers, which has seen three of his aides arrested. “The prime minister has already answered that question. Let it be. Let him decide on it,” he said when asked about repeated calls for him to step down.
