‘Thong Song’s Sisqó and Dru Hill will spotlight Deep Ellum’s Juneteenth party
Sisqó and all six former members of the rhythm and blues group will reunite to perform their top hits and join in the celebration of Black music and culture.
Dru Hill, known for its emotional ballads, harmonies and a mix of traditional R&B, soul and hip-hop influences, put together hits in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Mark “Sisqó” Andrews, Larry “Jazz” Anthony, Tamir “Nokio” Ruffin and James “Woody Rock” Green formed the group in 1992., released in 1996. The album spawned several hit singles, including “Tell Me,” “In My Bed” and “Never Make a Promise.
