The singer of the hit song ‘Mimpi Laila’ was charged with self-administering drugs at a police station last year.
PETALING JAYA: Singer and composer Yasin Sulaiman was ordered by the sessions court to enter his defence over three drug-related charges.
The singer of the hit song “Mimpi Laila” was charged with self-administering “11-nor-delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol-9-carboxylic acid”, a primary active component of cannabis, at a police station in Petaling Jaya, in March last year. Yasin was also charged with possessing 193.7gm of cannabis and for cultivating 17 cannabis plants at his home in Kota Damansara.
