Singapore registers record 1,426 new virus cases

THERE are 1,426 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore, said news reports quoting a statement from the Health Ministry. Only 16 of today’s cases are Singaporean or have permanent residency, the rest being work permit holders residing in workers’ dormitories.
