Singapore Opposition party SingFirst dissolved, says chief Tan Jee Say

In a statement on his Facebook page, Tan said the party came to this decision because it felt that a strong opposition would be best achieved with consolidation. Tan said that SingFirst had worked hard with other opposition parties to foster greater unity and cooperation in recent months, which was always the guiding principle of the party.“Since then, we have worked tirelessly to continue upholding the spirit of opposition unity. We have redirected quite a few who wanted to join us to other parties. Also, some ex-members are now active in different parties,” Tan said.
