Singapore man created Facebook accounts in name of person he disliked to share anti-Islam content

PETALING JAYA: The verdict has been delivered - Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) winger Arif Aiman Hanapi and Perak wingback Tommy Mawat Bada were given a three-game suspension.

SINGAPORE: A man created fake Facebook accounts impersonating someone he disliked and used them to share anti-Islam content.

The court heard that Chua was doing his national service in 2011 when he met the victim, who cannot be named due to a gag order. Several Facebook users commented in September that year that the account was fake. Chua then deactivated the account. According to the Majilis Ugama Islam Singapura , which assessed the videos, one of the videos was made with the intention of disparaging Islam and the Prophet Muhammad.
