JohorBahru Susulan tangkapan itu, polis berjaya melumpuhkan sindiket pemberi pinjaman wang tanpa lesen atau Ah Long yang disifatkan sebagai ganas dan berbahaya.
Ketua Polis Daerah Johor Bahru Selatan, Asisten Komisioner Shahurinain Jais berkata, dalam serbuan 12.20 tengah malam itu, sepasukan anggota dan pegawai Bahagian Siasatan Jenayah Komersil, Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Johor Bahru Selatan menahan kesemua suspek berusia 27 hingga 30 tahun.
“Selepas memeriksa butiran pengenalan diri suspek lelaki ketiga yang ditahan, pasukan serbuan menjalankan pemeriksaan dalam bilik yang dihuni suspek ketiga dan menjumpai barang rampasan. Katanya, mereka dipercayai mengganggu, memberi ugutan serta mendatangkan bencana dengan api terhadap harta benda milik mangsa atau peminjam.
