Sin Chew Daily’s chief editor and deputy chief sub-editor were detained today as part of the investigation into an illustration on the front page of the newspaper which depicted the Jalur Gemilang without the crescent moon.Earlier today, Sin Chew said it suspended its chief editor Chan Aun Kuang and deputy chief sub-editor Tsai Shwu San after the gaffe. The duo spent nearly three hours giving their statements to the police.
