Kineta and ChargEV are collaborating to expand EV charging network and infrastructure in Malaysia. For starters, EV owners can soon use ChargEV chargers via Kineta Charge app.
At its core, this partnership will see Kineta leveraging ChargEV’s strength as one of Malaysia’s major Charge Point Operators and its vast EV charging network. At the same time, ChargEV is also looking to ride on Kineta’s advantage within the consumer market and its engineering strength.
This is especially true given the fact that both of them are subsidiaries of two major conglomerates. Hence, there are still vast opportunities that both companies are currently exploring. Meanwhile, ChargEV is just one of several divisions under Yinson GreenTech that also dabbles in EV fleet, digital fleet management, and mobility solutions. YGT is also one of the core business units within Yinson Holdings which is a Malaysia-based global energy infrastructure and technology company.
