Masalah kekurangan pekerja itu telah menyebabkan 20 hingga 30 peratus projek kumpulan terpaksa ditunda.

PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Property Berhad berhadapan dengan masalah kekurangan pekerja asing sehingga 50 peratus yang telah menyebabkan beberapa projek mereka terpaksa ditunda.

“Kami mempunyai baki tujuh lagi projek yang diharap dapat diserahkan pada hujung tahun ini. Tidak dinafikan masalah kekurangan pekerja ini akan memberi impak kepada pendapatan kumpulan. “Meskipun berdepan persekitaran mencabar, kumpulan berjaya mencatatkan jualan yang utuh sebanyak RM1.9 bilion pada separuh pertama tahun kewangan 2022.

Walaupun berdepan dengan masalah-masalah tersebut, keuntungan bersih SDP bagi suku kedua berakhir 30 Jun 2022 melonjak kepada RM105 juta daripada RM23.21 juta setahun lalu, dipacu pelancaran produk sepanjang tempoh pandemik yang mencatatkan kadar pengambilan memberangsangkan.
