Silva menjadi pemain utama ketika membantu City bangkit daripada ketinggalan dua gol untuk menewaskan Swansea 3-2 dalam aksi suku akhir Piala FA pada Sabtu lalu.
Bukan sahaja meledak gol pertama namun dia turut mencipta gerakan gol ketika membantu Sergio Aguero menjaringkan gol kemenangan dalam aksi yang berlangsung di Stadium Liberty membolehkan City memburu Piala FA, EPL, Liga Juara-Juara pada musim ini selepas Piala Liga sudah pun berada dalam genggaman mereka.“Musim lalu sangat istimewa kerana kami menjuarai EPL, musim ini boleh jadi istimewa sebab kami sudah pun memenangi satu kejohanan, kami masih beraksi dalam tiga kejohanan.
“Kami boleh memenangi ketiga-tiga kejohanan itu atau melepaskannya semua, jadi itu sangat sukar namun kami tahu sebulan setengah yang terakhir ini akan menjadi amat sukar. “Kami akan berusaha untuk mencipta sesuatu yang istimewa dan menulis lipatan sejarah baharu untuk kelab ini,” kata Silva.“Penting untuk kami memenangi perlawanan seperti ini, bukan menang dengan jaringan empat atau lima tanpa balas tetapi perlawanan seperti ini menunjukkan karekter anda,” kata Silva. - AFP
