MELAKA : It was an emotional moment for the family members of two siblings who were killed after their motorcycle rammed into a dumpster. The siblings were buried about 50m away from their father's grave at the Bertam Ulu Muslim burial ground in Paya Rumput on Tuesday evening .Other family members, who were in sombre moods, were seen consoling a distraught Norizan at the burial ground.Norizan later said she felt lonely after losing all her family members within a few months.
She also hopes that stern action will be taken against those responsible for placing the dumpster along the roadside. On Monday , five-year-old Nur Afiqah Sofea Hazlin and her 18-year-old brother, Muhammad Amirul Hazlin, were killed after their motorcycle rammed into the Roll-On Roll-Off bin left on the road shoulder along the Sungai Udang-Paya Rumput-Ayer Keroh Highway.Melaka Tengah OCPD Asst Comm Christopher Patit identified the victims as Nur Afiqah Sofea Hazlin, who was being treated at Melaka Hospital.
The motorcycle, ridden by Muhammad Amirul, crashed into the RoRo bin while on their way to visit their late father's grave before joining other family members for dinner at 6.15pm on that day .
