The Jigawa State Chief Judge and Chairman of the Judicial Service Commission, Hon. Justice Umar M. Sadiq, has warned nine newly appointed magistrates to shun all forms of corruption and restore the judiciary's image.

The Jigawa State Chief Judge and Chairman of the Judicial Service Commission, Hon. Justice Umar M. Sadiq, has warned nine newly appointed magistrates to shun all forms of corruption and restore the judiciary's image. This was contained in a press statement signed by the Director of Protocol & Publicity, State Judiciary, Abbas Rufa'i Wangara, and sent to DAILY POST.

He warned the appointees to shun all forms of corruption and bribery to maintain the tempo of integrity and make everything possible to restore the image of the judiciary at a lower level, as they will serve as the last hope of the common man. He also charged them to be fully prepared for any challenges associated with their official engagement. He therefore urged the newly appointed magistrates to be honest & hard work and to prove the integrity reposed in them.
