The Taiwanese actress was no match for fellow Bulgari ambassador Hikari Mori, who was constantly trying to put herself forward for photographers.
However, Chinese netizens who watched the show online didn’t quite like how Shu Qi and Yifei were seemingly treated and they went on to air their unhappiness on social media.
Netizens said Hikari’s posture made the two Chinese actresses look like train passengers huddling together during the morning and evening rush hour. In fact, Shu Qi was seen nearly tripping on the small stage and was relegated to the step below, as if she were a supporting character at the event.“Hikari was so rude to Shu Qi!” wrote one netizen, while another chastised the Japanese actress for her behaviour, saying she is not suitable to be an ambassador for Bulgari.
