: Golf fans will be in for a real treat when the cream of the Asian Development Tour and leading Malaysians from the domestic Toyota Tour battle for glory in the PKNS Selangor Masters, which tees off at Seri Selangor Golf Club today.
Spearheading the local challenge is the country’s number one golfer, Gavin Green, along with a host of other leading Malaysian professionals including his younger brother Galven, Ervin Chang, Paul San and Amir Nazrin. Chang is the current Toyota Tour Order of Merit leader, while San and Green lie third and fourth respectively.
Back for another bite at the title is 2022 runner-up Denwit Boriboonsub of Thailand, who will be keen to make amends for last year’s narrow loss to Shahriffuddin. The duo fought out an enthralling battle in a rollercoaster final round at Seri Selangor, with the Malaysian emerging as the winner by two shots.
The Selangor State Development Corporation returns as title sponsor for the second year running, while the event promoter is PKNS Golf Management Services Sdn Bhd which is a full subsidiary of PKNS.
