PETALING JAYA: Terengganu PKR must assess its own strengths before demanding that Umno make way for it in numerous seats for the upcoming state election, says Terengganu Umno chief Ahmad Said.

“They must measure their own strengths , how many branches do they have ? Tell us, who are their local political figures?” he said yesterday, according to Astro Awani. On Sunday, Bernama reported that PKR vice-president Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad urged Barisan Nasional to take his party seriously, saying it is optimistic of winning several seats in the coming state election.
