Should Jacob and Taylor die in Phantom Liberty?
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Early in the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC's main story for Phantom Liberty, V is faced with a difficult choice without a lot of time to make a well-thought-out decision. As is often the case with much of the game, there are many decisions that have to be handled which can affect other things down the line, and particularly when trying to roleplay it can be hard to know what the right choice is.
What Are Jacob And Taylor Doing There Jacob and Taylor don't know that President Myers and V are hiding in the apartment before they arrive. These two friends are simply looking for a place to spend the night, and at first, Jacob feels that they hit the jackpot by finding an empty place with working lights. Taylor is a bit more suspicious, figuring that something is unsettling about the location, but the two continue inside while Myers and V remain hidden.
V can either immediately agree with the President and kill the men, or may inadvertently end up being forced into agreement by not answering the Quick-Time Event fast enough. Additionally, if V tries to talk things out with Jacob and Taylor, they could prompt a gunfight by stepping too close to the duo before the conversation is over. Jacob and Taylor are an easy fight, they are certainly not trained soldiers, and the loot they drop is fairly inconsequential.
