A politician has backed calls to ban dangerous dog breeds after a number of recent attacks, including a woman who was almost mauled to death by her rottweilers.
Neighbours and police attempted to intervene when two dogs savagely attacked Nikita Piil, 31, in Success, about 22 kilometres south of Perth, late on Saturday afternoon.

Picture: 9News He revealed he had attended the funeral of a little girl of one of his constituents who had died in 2012 from a dog attack. "So I certainly think that for a few breeds, absolutely, just proven that owners can't control all of them."
