Shooting Stars have solicited for the continued support of the teeming supporters ahead of their matchday 24 fixture against Akwa United. The chairman of the club, Honourable Babatunde Akoro charged the supporters to come out in large numbers to cheer the team up against the Promise Keepers.

Shooting Stars will lock horns with Akwa United at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba , Ibadan on Sunday. The Oluyole Warriors are unbeaten in their last three games. 'We seize this medium to express our appreciation to our supporters and fans, who have stiod behind us all this while,' he stated in his address. 'We salute their patience, perseverance and their courage and we also hail them for the belief they have in the team.

'At this point, we will also wish to warn trouble makers and miscreants, disguising as fans of the club, to desist from acts, capable of putting the team in trouble. 'The act of using foul languages, throwing missiles and attempts to attack any official or player, before during and after matches, are prohibited because they are against the rules of the NFPL.
