OAKLAND — A man was in critical condition at a hospital early Tuesday after being shot in the parking lot behind a hotel, police said.According to police, a man was sitting in his van in the parking lot, when another car pulled up. Police said a man got out of the car, walked up to the man and shot him in the chest.Police are trying to ascertain the motive for the shooting and identify the suspect.
