Shohei Ohtani pitched seven scoreless one-hit innings while striking out six in the Angels' 2-0 win over the Washington Nationals on Tuesday at Angel Stadium.
He walked Alex Call to start his outing, one of five batters walked over seven innings and he threw a pitch that grazed another batter. But he also struck out six and held the Nationals to just one hit at Angel Stadium.José Suarez struggled last week and he ran into problems again Monday as the Angels fail to hold on to a three-run lead in a 6-4 loss to the Nationals.
