Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto expressed his gratitude to the fans who have supported Universal Pictures' The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
to share his gratitude to the fans who have supported Universal Pictures’ animated film adaptation of Nintendo’s popular video game franchise. Miyamoto is the Nintendo game designer best known for creating a number of hit video games including Mario and The Legend of Zelda.
“The Super Mario Bros. Movie is the first film with which Nintendo was directly involved in production,” Miyamoto said in the video. “We feel very fortunate that so many people around the world have watched this movie. Thank you all so much. We hope you’ll continue cheering for Mario’s team.”
