Vice President Kashim Shettima will meet with the President of the African Development Bank , Dr Akinwumi Adesina, at the World Food Prize Foundation’s Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue in Des Moines, Iowa, USA.According to a statement by the VP’s spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha, the vice president will deliver a keynote speech at the event’s plenary session on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
He will later participate in a side event on the African Agriculture Dialogue on Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones. On Thursday, October 26, he will take part in a fireside chat with the AfDB President.The Borlaug Dialogue brings together individuals from more than 65 countries to address cutting-edge issues related to global food security and nutrition. This year’s theme is “Transforming Food Systems: A Global Action Agenda”.
