In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the weather bureau said cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms may prevail in the provinces of Cagayan, Apayao, and Ilocos Norte due to the shear line, or the or the tail-end of a frontal system. Localized thunderstorms, meanwhile, may bring partly cloudy skies to at times cloudy with rainshowers or thunderstorm over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.Forecast winds in the northern and eastern sections of Luzon will be strong. Coastal waters will be rough. The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters.
The minimum temperature was monitored at 5 a.m. at 24.2ºC while the maximum temperature was recorded at 1 p.m. at 32ºC.
