The shear line and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) are affecting Luzon on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its latest weather bulletin.
According to the weather bureau, the Amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains to Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, CALABARZON, and Aurora province. It will also cast partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Luzon.
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, meanwhile, will be experienced in Bicol Region, Davao Region, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, and Caraga due to the shear line and a low-pressure area developing over the waters off Davao City.The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA and localized thunderstorms.
Forecast winds in Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao will be moderate to strong with moderate to rough coastal waters while the rest of Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters.The sun will set over Metro Manila at 5:32 p.m.
