Singaporean actress and presenter Sharon Au travelled to Lyon, France to support Singaporean Michelin-starred chef Mathew Leong at the Bocuse d'Or culinary competition. Leong, who is executive chef at a three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Norway, has been preparing for the competition for years and previously placed 12th in 2021. Au shared her support on Instagram, praising Leong's dedication and spirit.

Au, 49, posted two reels of Leong at the competition on Instagram, with clips of the chef preparing venison for his dish. Au also posted a clip of the episode, which featured Leong talking about the intense training he went through for the competition. She said in the programme: “I want to join your team , chef Mathew Leong.”
