AIRASIA’s shareholders have approved the airline’s decision to sell off 25 aircraft to US investment firm Castlelake LP in a deal amounting to US$768 million , paving the way for the company to now focus on digital business. AirAsia Group Bhd chief executive officer Tony Fernandes tweeted that an extraordinary general meeting was convened to seek shareholders approval for the disposal.
