The construction of the Shah Alam Sports Complex in Kuala Selangor, Malaysia, is 60% complete and 20 days ahead of schedule. The complex will include a stadium, indoor theatre, transportation hub, and various other facilities. It will also feature a large park for the residents of Shah Alam and visitors. The project aligns with the state government's efforts to address flooding issues in Section 13.
KUALA SELANGOR: Projek pembangunan Kompleks Sukan Shah Alam mencatat tahap kemajuan lebih 60 peratus dan berada dalam fasa 20 hari lebih awal daripada jadual ditetapkan.
“MBI komited memastikan proses itu berjalan lancar dan efektif biarpun kos pembinaan semakin meningkat. Ia melibatkan beberapa proses pembayaran sama ada dalam bentuk land swapping dan sebagainya. Jelasnya, pembangunan kompleks itu meliputi pembinaan stadium, teater tertutup, hab pengangkutan dan pelbagai kemudahan lain.
“Projek itu juga selaras dengan usaha kerajaan negeri menangani isu banjir di sekitar Seksyen 13 dan kerajaan Persekutuan menyediakan peruntukan bagi projek tebatan banjir nenerusi kolam takungan seluas empat hektar,” ujarnya.
