KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal scoffed at the idea of dissolving the state assembly, saying that the Parti Warisan Sabah still has the two-thirds majority to rule the state.

"We have 45 assemblymen . We will continue to work for the state, ” he said in response to talk that the Sabah government might collapse in the event of more defections.

"What is important is economic growth and stability, ” he told reporters after announcing the second Sabah Covid-19 stimulus package worth RM240mil on Thursday .
