BEAUFORT: Parti Warisan Sabah president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal is confident the victory in the Sandakan by-election in May last year can be repeated in the Kimanis by-election.

He noted how various leaders from PKR, DAP and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia had come to show support for Warisan."Warisan is a party from Sabah and hopefully will gain the people's support," he added. Explaining the 14 candidacy forms taken from EC earlier on, he said it was the norm for parties to buy multiple forms just in case of mistakes in filing them.
