BEAUFORT: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal hit back at Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan on Thursday (Jan 16), saying there are minutes of a meeting that indicated that Barisan Nasional agreed to a Sabah temporary resident pass in 2016.
He challenged Pairin, who called him a liar, to sue if what he said about the meeting details and Sabah Temporary Pass were untrue.
“I know the meeting took place, even the content is clear. We did not make it up, so I hope the people will be able to see through this, ” he told reporters after launching the Unifi telecommunications event at the open hall in Bongawan town.
“When I meet people here, they will air their own personal predicaments like their children looking for jobs. Rarely do I hear them talking about PSS, ” he said.
