There’s an elevated fire damage risk with the warm and breezy day, particularly west of Interstate 35, the National Weather Service said. As evening falls, storm chances were forecast to increase, and the area may experience large hail and damaging winds that persist overnight, mostly north of Interstate 20, according to the weather service.
