PETALING JAYA: Seven returning Malaysians have been sent to the hospital after testing positive for Covid-19, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The Senior Minister said the seven were among the 1,171 Malaysians who landed in KLIA and KLIA2 on Friday from Indonesia, Singapore, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, China, Pakistan, Brunei, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and the Philippines.Ismail added that the police had also conducted 944 checks on people undergoing quarantine at home and reported that standard operating procedure was being followed.

"The Agriculture Ministry also surveyed food suppliers and reassured us of sufficient food supply, so there is no need to worry about it running out," he said.
