SINGAPORE: Enhancement work will be carried out on seven bus interchanges across the island, with new features that will improve accessibility and provide a better commuting experience, said the Land Transport Authority on Friday (Aug 16).

SINGAPORE: Enhancement work will be carried out on seven bus interchanges across the island, with new features that will improve accessibility and provide a better commuting experience, said the Land Transport Authority on Friday .

Upgrades at the seven bus interchanges will include the improvement and provision of inclusivity facilities such as priority queue zones, additional seating, baby care and family washrooms, wheelchair-accessible toilets, commuter care rooms, tactile guide paths and Braille signs on handrails. No disruption to bus operations is expected during the upgrading, with work affecting bus berths to be done one berth at a time to minimise inconvenience to commuters, said LTA.
