The individual allegedly fired at least eight shots at the cleaner using a pistol before making a daring escape. He hijacked a car, forcing the driver to take him to a location near the Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS), where he was eventually dropped off. The driver promptly filed a police report. The injured cleaner was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment. As of the latest updates early this morning, the suspect remains at large, and police are concentrating their search efforts in the area where he was last seen. In the aftermath of the incident, the mall was temporarily closed, and Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) issued a statement on social media informing patrons that all screenings had been canceled or interrupted. GSC assured that refunds would be issued for affected shows. The mall management requested everyone to vacate the premises for safety reasons.
